Michael LeClair
For 36 years before semi-retiring and launching L&R, LeClair was Chief Engineer of WBUR 90.9FM in Boston, one of the most successful public radio stations in the country.
He was also editor of Radio World: Engineering Extra for several years, a prolific contract engineer for Boston-area stations, and very active in the local Chapter (SBE11) of the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
Aaron Read
Starting as a student employee at WBUR 90.9FM in Boston back in 1996, Read has worked in media & broadcast engineering for over 25 years, including ITworld.com, Computerworld, Broadcast Signal Lab / Isotrope, WZBC Newton, KCSB Santa Barbara, WTBU Boston University, KCAW Sitka and KCBX San Luis Obispo. As well as the public radio shows The Infinite Mind and Living on Earth.
He was General Manager of Hobart & William Smith Colleges’ WHWS-LP and Finger Lakes Public Radio (WEOS) for four years. Most recently he was Chief Engineer of Rhode Island Public Radio / The Public’s Radio from 2012 to 2024.
